After creating men and women in his own image, God rested from his work of creating the cosmos as his temple and blessed the seventh day. Therefore, he provided us with an example to follow by ceasing from his labor on the Sabbath.

Even better, we can trust that Jesus’s sacrifice on our behalf is sufficient for us to enter God’s eternal place of rest.
